With the summer finally out in full swing and my integration progressing rapidly, I will be spending more time outside and socializing. I’ve found a few language partners and am being invited to various events (while also searching for a new job) so things will be put on hold here.

I still have many different topics that I’ve wanted to post about, though I will admit my desire to travel and write about other destinations has waned since I am entering another, deeper layer of “travelling.” By becoming a resident and integrating, I’ve found my perspective changing and being enhanced in many wonderful ways.

Although travel is about seeing and experiencing new things, it really is just about finding new ways to see and connect with “the world” which really just means other people. As clichéd as it might sound, experiencing the world is another way to experience the self and my hunger for that is being satiated quite well.

So until the Wanderlust Bug bites again,
